So funny, I was going to suggest this one on the previous post about the Monkey King yesterday. You can find a lot of Monkey King stories (both animations like this and live action - which I've also saw on channel 33 sometimes).
I love Monkey King so I was really happy to play it in class when Josh and Fiona said it was their favourite character. Amazing animation for 1964. You can even follow this story without the subtitles! I am going to buy myself a more recent movie version but it is more a martial arts movie. The children have told me of other childrens versions especially - Kai Lan. Many years ago, A Japanese version of the Monkey King - Journey to the West was a tv series here. It was hilarious also but these versions all change the story slightly so it is good to see this animation. Thanks for commenting.
