Reading

The children will read with me and bring readers home or they will choose a reader if it is their choosing day. Please write the name of their reader into their notebook and sign it after your child has done their reading homework. You can ask your child to write the name of the book in their notebook if they would like to. On Fridays the children will bring home their Poem Book with the Poem we have been learning for the week.

Notebooks and Poem books can become worn during the year and it is worth covering them to make them last longer. Ezycovers or eco-covers are book covers that slip on and off exercise books. They cost more than covering film but you will be able to reuse them and in line with our Green theme are a practical option. The other books do not require covering and I will name and label all your child's exercise books for this year.
