Maths

Homework

This term your child will be bringing home Maths as well as Reading homework. In Year 1 we were focusing on working out answers quickly and saying them. In Year 2 we also need to be able to write those answers. For Basic Facts (see Basic Fact page), your child will learn their test. The sheets get progressively harder and you will note there is a time limit that the questions need to be answered within.

Print out the sheet that your child is on and practice three times a week. We will do a weekly test on Friday and your child will plot their progress in a graph.
