Brasil Samba

Brasil Music

Friday Week 11- Allo Monica! We learned about Brasil

Today we learned about Brasil from Caio's Mum, Monica. Caio's family is in Brasil for the next 4 weeks. Monica showed us where Brasil was in a slideshow. We learned about food, sports, dance & music, animals, Capoeira and we saw where in Brasil Caio was going to.

Can you answer these questions Room 23?

1. Why is yellow the colour of Brasil?
2. What is the favourite sport of Brasil?
3. What bird is Caio going to see in Brasil?
4. What is Capoeira?
5. Which animal is a ball?
6. Brasil has 19 million people or 198 million people?

Please send items for Assemblage Art his week

4 or 5 items is fine. Whatever treasures the children want to include. From the look of the boxes they need to be quite small. We have quite a few trinkets at school for children who can't bear to part with their things from home. As they come in, I am putting them in a plastic bag and naming them so they fit in the cupboard.

And again!

Thanks youtube for righting our video.

Jolly Jumping Jellybeans how about that!

Watch our video that we made about our Shared Book. I will also try and flip the first one I took.

How are the boxes going?

They are bee-utiful!. Almost too nice to put anything inside. Thank you lovely parents for your help. We probably are done with making them. We will get on with filling them so expect to see them on the walls some time soon.
